This post is a little bit about everything I’ve been obsessed with over the past few weeks. Do you ever just find something that works well, does exactly what you want it to do, or is everything you never knew you needed? From Whole Foods, Amazon, Trader Joes, and Instagram, these are all the things I’ve stumbled upon lately and they’re just too good not to share!
Tessemae’s Organic Dressings
If you’re reading this, head to your nearest Whole Foods or Sprouts and pick up any of the 11 (!!) dressings right now. All of Tessemae’s dressings are “Whole30” approved and dairy-free and sugar-free. The lemon garlic is perfect when you need a little more flavor on your salad, spaghetti squash, or pasta and I’ve used the balsamic vinaigrette on salads and pizza. The ingredients are all super clean and every dressing I’ve tried is so yummy! Check out their website for the rest of their clean products.
Coconut Aminos Soy-Free Sauce
I swear I’ll never use regular soy sauce ever again. This stuff is sent straight from the health gods and can be found at your nearest grocery store and now Trader Joe’s! Coconut Aminos add the same flavor (doesn’t taste like coconuts at all) and consistency as your usual soy sauce but literally has 500 LESS GRAMS OF SODIUM, is soy and dairy free, and is at pure as it sounds (two ingredients – coconut tree sap and sea salt.) The only thing it’s missing is a travel size so I can bring it to all my sushi dinners…
Vegan Cream Cheese
I’ve tried a few dairy-free and vegan cream cheeses and this one exceeds all expectations. I have tried Miyokos before (their butter rocks) but when I heard news that Trader Joes picked it up, I knew it was time to try the cream cheese. Cream cheese is already super low-carb and not too bad for you (in moderation and a healthy serving size of course) but my skin and body, like most people’s, don’t love dairy. I try to eat dairy-free as much as possible to avoid mood swings, bloating, and breakouts, and this is the perfect substitute. It’s creamy, spreadable, and comes in variety of flavors! I bought the “Un-Lox Your Dreams” flavor and it adds the perfect herb/vegetable taste to bagel thins, creamy pasta sauces, and scrambled eggs!
Coffee Bean Exfoliant
Hear me out on this one. In my attempt to progress to an all-natural beauty lifestyle, I recently decided to ditch my “Kashmere” exfoliant (Kim from real housewives’ beauty line) and opt for this all-natural, organic coffee scrub. Exfoliating is SO important to the feel and appearance of our skin (the largest organ!) because not only does it eliminate dead skin, it increases skin radiation and blood flow. This coffee scrub, made from coffee beans and sea salt, includes even more benefits. The caffeine in the coffee beans acts as a natural energizer to our cells and increases circulation, which can decrease the appearance of cellulite – clusters of fat cells that sit right below the skin’s surface and cause a lumpy effect in our skin. I use this coffee scrub once a week and I can already tell a difference in the tightness of my skin. Not to mention it smells amazing!
NOTE – If you’re super reactive to caffeine, like me, I recommend not using this product at night. Our skin absorbs 85% of the products in comes in contact with, meaning the caffeine in the coffee beans can keep you awake!
CBD Anxiety Gummies
CBD. It’s not illegal but it’s also not advertised. And no it doesn’t get you high! For the past year, I have noticed an exponential increase in my anxiety, specifically hangover anxiety. No matter what I drink or how much, I wake up at 6 am and am sick to my stomach for hours. It’s almost as if I am anxious about feeling hungover, which makes my hangover 10x worse than it actually is. I have a really sensitive stomach and I know how bad anxiety medications can be for my gut. So after extensive research, I decided to try these all-natural CBD gummies. CBD comes from the cannibus plant, making it completely natural, anti-inflammatory, and anti-anxiety. However, it is free from all THC (the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana) so it does not give you the same effect. The gummies are 10 mg each and I take 1 or 2 when I’m feeling anxious to the point of making myself sick. They taste amazing and it’s a totally natural feeling. I don’t feel different mentally or emotionally, I just feel”normal,” as opposed to feeling anxious. The bottle comes with 20 gummies and is worth every penny!!
Morning Toast Podcast
Introducing your new favorite morning talk show. And by morning show I mean podcast because these 20-something sisters are SO in tune with what’s necessary. “The Morning Toast” “airs” every day (blessed) at 10 am ET and its all things pop culture, trends, hollywood, and current events. They deliver “the fast 5 stories you need to know before you take a bite out of your morning toast,” which covers all the celebrity drama and worldwide news you didn’t even know happened the day before. The sisters do it all with hilarious catch phrases, blunt one-liners, and occasional celeb co-hosts that spill ALL the tea on everything you want to know. The episodes are a little over an hour so if you’re needing something to help make the mornings go faster, this is your pod!

Yes you do!! I seriously put them on everything. & I totally have to pick those up from TJ’s!!!
Abby, can I try one of your gummies? I’m very intrigued.
Abby, I enjoyed your post and am going to try the coffee scrub and the dressings!
Also regarding your upset stomach from either anxiety or drinking…I have trouble with alcohol and my tummy too. So, I drink less, for sure but I also monitor what I eat and drink during the day, before I want a cocktail. I have noticed the higher the sugar the more upset my tummy gets. And I eat one chewy tums before bed and when I get up! The calcium is good for us too.
Thanks!!
Nice work as per usual.
