Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to write this post because I had plans to travel to Atlanta to watch my Kansas City Chiefs play in the Super Bowl. But that’s a different story and here we are.
Super Bowl parties are an excuse to make the dish, snack, or cocktail you’ve been eyeing on Instagram or Pinterest. But if one of your new year’s resolutions was to eat healthier or cleaner, why let a little party distract you?! We are officially one month into the new year and our goals should now be permanent lifestyle changes!
So, to make all of your lives easier, I’ve found (and linked!) my 8 favorite healthy* snacks you can prepare for your Super Bowl party. The best news is all of these recipes have less than 10 ingredients! Happy cooking!
*By healthy, I am referring to clean, simple ingredients and a low carb count
Jalapeno Popper Chicken Casserole
Super easy, keto friendly, and basically a jalapeno popper on steroids! Opt for turkey bacon for a leaner option. This is what I’m bringing to my party!
Cauliflower Buffalo Bites
A healthier version of buffalo wings. YUM.
Zucchini Brownies
I’ve made these before and they’re to die for. No, they don’t taste like zucchini! You’ll fool everyone and they’ll thank you later.
Pineapple Barbecue Chicken Meatballs
A staple Super Bowl snack. Now whole30 and Paleo approved!
Buffalo Chicken Dip
Probably the most iconic super bowl party dish! Skip the ranch to make it a healthier option. Trust me, it doesn’t need it!
No Bake Chocolate Chip Cookies
Coconut Flour – major key. Choose unsweetened chocolate chips to go the extra mile.
Greek Layer Dip
Your super bowl party didn’t know it needed a greek/hummus layered dip until now.
Skinny Mexican Street Corn Dip
I love a good mexican street corn and the olive oil-based mayo is the major factor in this healthy version! (Also, peep the KC Royals picture at the bottom of her post – love supporting kc gals!)
That’s all I’ve got for you for now! Check out my pinterest board for more options (and my weekly meal boards!) Hope everyone has a great, safe, and healthy weekend!
These look amazing – every one of them. Doing the buffalo cauliflower for sure.
I love all of these! Perfect!
A friend made the Jalapeno chicken casserole the other night for a shared dinner. I don’t do spicy but everyone else said it was amazing! I am going to make those brownies!:)
I’m just now see this/you!! Just love what I’ve read so far and as I start a new beginning hopefully with Ketos/ Protein diet I LOVED your Super Bowl Healthy Snacks.
Oh man! These really look so delicious! I can’t wait to try these! Thanks for sharing!
