I love being pampered as much as the next person but lately due to circumstances, I’ve found ways to save time and money and do certain treatments at home! I There are some things that are better left to professionals (like a lovely hydrofacial) but most things I used to pay someone to do for me, I can really do myself! From facials, body treatments, to lashes, here’s 5 beauty products you need to save time and money.
Dermaplaning
Schick Brow & Face Razors
Dermaplaning is a very popular treatment to remove all of the peach fuzz on our face and neck. If you’ve never done it before, I highly recommend it! My lotions, serums, and makeup look exponentially better after a quick dermaplane. I used to pay $60 at the spa to have it done, but really all you need is a dermaplane razor. I love the ones from Schick (I promise you won’t cut yourself). They’re $5 (!!) and come in a pack of 3.
Brow Tinting

It’s kind of amazing what a fresh pair of tinted brows can do for a face. I have naturally light brows with dark eye features so I’ve colored my brows in every day for about 2 years. At a waxing/tinting spa, a brow tint costs anywhere from $12-$25, and only lasts about 2 weeks. I knew I could easily do it myseld and found this brand and haven’t looked back! I can now dye my brows quickly before any event, vacation, or occasioan without having to book an appointment. Plus, it comes with so many capsules and lasts forever. I use the dark brown!
Body Exfoliating

Body exfoliating is extremely underrated considering all the benefits. Regular exfoliation is found to decrease the appearance of cellulite, minimizes pores, increases circulation, stimulates collagen synthesis, and evens out skin tone. I’ve even noticed it helps with in-grown hairs on my legs due to shaving and waxing. I love this sea salt scrub because it comes with a little scoop spoon and hand brush. It also comes in many other scents and ingredients but I love the coconut one! It can be used all over your body, including your face.
Pore Extractions

I have found the holy grail to zit extractions, and it doesn’t include picking at my face or being red for days. I’ve used plenty of zit creams in my day but almost all of them leave my skin extremely dry afterwards. This little sticker is clear and punctures the pore with micro-darts so you don’t have to do anything! When I feel a zit coming on, I put this sticker on before bed (I’ve even wore it to work because it’s clear!) and let it work it’s magic. It has little microdarts that self-dissolve deep into the pores. It also comes with cleansing pads!

I’ve always been extremely jealous of people who not only can afford monthly lash extensions, but also have the time and patience to repeatedly get them done! I got lash extensions once and it took over 2 hours and I loved them for the first week… then my lashes started to fall out. This serum is perfect for the person who just wants to grow their lashes without the up-keep and breaking the bank. I put it on every night before bed and it works miracles.
